Distant Counter for B! Ephraim?

I was lucky enough to get a Brave Ephraim, even though he's got an atk bane, so I'll be relying on buffs to secure as many follow up attacks as possible. I've been holding onto an extra Legendary Hector and I'm wondering if I should sacrifice him (with sub-optimal IVs) to give B! Ephraim Distant Counter? X3

I mean, it sounds like a great idea and a hell of a lot easier than waiting for another Hector, right? Also, I'm using two other L! Hectors with better IVs on different teams with different builds/skill sets.

Or is there another strategy for B! Ephraim I might be overlooking in favor of using Distant Counter?

Well, the other strategy is to focus on melee dominance. Unless you really need those few extra points for arena score from DC, I'd say that it's not really needed. Especially when you consider the fact, that he's green, which is the color that he shares with the other 3 versions of Hector, and considering you are currently using 2 other L.Hectors, having another DC green armor (even though he has his own strenghts) is kind of an overkill imho.

No, -Atk with DC won’t work. He’ll fail to secure crucial one-shots

He probably won’t be able to secure counter triangle OHKOs and he’ll fail to one shot his same color, green

Mmmm, I almost never have a unit "one shot" anyone unless they are way below my unit's level. I would also rely on using Aether combo'ed with Special Fighter. The Aether + Cool Down bonus serves me immensely well for my armor team.

Also, B! Ephraim's atk bane isn't nearly as bad as my H! Jakob's atk bane @[email protected] Barely hits 45 atk XP
