A different way to summon seasonals

What if there was a Holy Grails type thing where instead of summoning a TT or GHB units, you could summon certain seasonals instead. Would it work?

I'd love that idea but that would also cut into IS business model so it would never happen.

Honestly if they made it so you could buy Gen 1 seasonal's with orb say maybe 20 or so I would honestly not mind doing it, the only problem is if we could pay extra orbs to get the Boon we want because otherwise they would be neutral which isn't that especially with how they are doing merges in Feb's update

I hope that they expand the Holy Grails and Combat Manuals with a skill/unit shop in the future.

Have combat manuals of rare/useful skills (or even new ones) and limited 4* copies of certain 4-5* units for sale (limited new currency or orbs), rotating each week, would be a dream come true.

The problem would be with the pricing. If too cheap, then the gacha gets devalued, if too expensive, then the shop becomes practically useless.

I'm more curious on how they plan to do seasonal banners in the years to come

-It's now been 5 years since the game has launched
-Year 5 Summer banner's comes out
-Enjoy year 1-4 Summer banner's also
-We now have 10 banner's clogging up the summoning screen

It wouldn't surprise me if they come out with a new game mode close to year 4 that gives you resources to summon previous seasonal's starting with year 1 and 2 unit'so and slowly adding more seasonal unit's as as the year goes by
