Dif builds for dif IVs of the same hero?

I have a 4* +Def/-Res Lukas and a 5* +Atk/-HP Lukas. Is it worth keeping both of these and building them with separate builds (a wall for the +def, brave lance for the +atk) or should I just merge them together?

Anyone else have the same hero, dif IVs, dif builds? Or do you prefer to have different builds on just one unit that you swap out when needed?

Lukas is not a great unit(good, not great), and his niche is his defence. I would only build him as a blue wall, as there's a lot a good potentially better brave lance user like effie or cordelia who will need less skill to be inherited than him. 20k feathers are precious to me so as a f2p, I spend them with care if that make sense.

It could make sense if you have a lot of ressources to build him though or if you like him a lot as he has good IV for the brave lance build, but the merge would give you 1 more defence, which is neat.

On some heroes IVs can open up drastically different builds, especially when it's a +4 boon or it pushes them across a critical spd/ko threshold, but on others it doesn't really make a difference. I don't think Lukas is really one of those units where it changes his build...either way I'd probably go with the same set-up.
