Is your luck just as terrible as mine or is it just me?
My last focus units were on the Love Abounds Banner. And a S!Kagero, after 4,5% or so, so I don't count her.
No single focus unit in the Hector Banner, in the Bridal Banners or the Summer Banners and now in the Festival Banner.
But got pity broken by a Sumia. Just looked at her stats, tbh she is just terrible, why is she even 5* locked (Ok she is not THAT bad, but I'm salty.)? Because she is new? Or because of her skills? There are SO MANY blue 5* units I don't have and I had to get her? Why :(
She is -Def +HP btw. So she can just sit on her bench right next to my -Atk Bow Hinoka and my -Atk +Def F!Morgan.
Btw, my last Legendary unit I got was 4 month ago... And in the last Legendary Heroes banners I was at 11%.
Well just saving orbs for the orig. Dancer Banner then. Maybe my luck will come back...

It does sound like rotten luck, and especially when one of the few units you got was on a 4.5% or pity breakers. The best you can do now is try to work with the system as much as you can, and that means saving and taking advantage of specific snipes as well as percentages. It also means you can't afford to be as picky with banners.
And Sumia is pretty good, I'm not sure what you mean. Even if the IVs you got suck, she's still really fast with a passable Atk stat.
Yeah I'm just really salty tbh.
But still there a 4* units who are as good as her. Like Shanna and Cordelia. And then there are 5* lance users who are way better, like Hardin, Nephenee or Shigure. It's like getting pity broken by a Tailtiu.
I wasn't picky on any of them (besides the Hector banner), did only full summons. I don't care anymore which focus units I get as long as I get something.
Full summons are a great way to get pity broken, so you should never do that unless all orbs have bonus units you want, or mb if you already summoned a 5*, your pity rate is decent and there are bonus units that you kinda want. If the orb doesn't have a chance of bonus unit you'd need a pity rate of 6ish % for it to be worth a summon, AFTER you summoned a 5 star in that session.
Also, after you get the 5 star, never continue if you don't have pity rate. Like if you have 3.25% and your first pull is 5* stop immediately(unless it's Hector banner and you have 5 greens, since greens are kinda rare and have a better 5*spawn rate) , and start rebuilding pity rate again.
The numbers I use are crude estimates, those are not exact breakpoints! The point is the line of thought.
I disagree with this advice as I got both Neph and Kat off their focus banner on my free round so once you get a 5* ALWAYS pull the full circle (This was after a 6.75% Sketchy Banner rate that screwed me though). The number of times I've got 1 5* vs multiple 5* has been about equal, but I never expect more than the one.
That's a Gatcha game for you. The solution is to buy orbs, spend your savings, self property, self organs, sell loved ones, then the gods may grant your wish.
And Sumia's a pretty good unit if you can get without a bane in attack or defense, since you have she'll still work but otherwise is great fodder. I got 5 of her trying to find Olivia and the best IV was +Def -Spd but she's still great.
