Did I make the right move?

So I got a Lucina from the banner and while I do now have the 4 star "Masked Marth" I don't want to dump 20k feathers for the 5 star. Problem is, my Lucina is -Atk +Def so I went ahead and actually gave her Life and Death over Fury to help push her attack even higher. It has worked out well so far, but I wonder if this will hurt more than it helped in the long run. I plan to use Anna as a passive healer for her since her 5 star weapon allows her to teleport and for vantage (which will be desperation later once I get fodder for it)

In my opinion, yes, I think that was a good choice, However Ive always liked LaD > Fury. Basically what you did is neutralize her atk and defense IVs, and boosted her speed (which is always a good thing) and lowered her pitiful resistance, which honestly will make no difference as she's going to get Ohko'd regardless.

Also you could get 30k pts, which would give you a neutral 5* Masked Marth, which would also be a very viable option for you.

Thanks for the input! I thought that LaD would be a good choice due to the boon/bane I got but I wanted to make sure I didn't overlook anything. I have been getting pretty tired of TT but now that I have most of my units leveled to where I need them to be I'll start giving Lunatic another go as soon as my stamina restores

Yes, that was a good move, because Lucina works well with Life and Death, regardless of an extra 3 atk. Fury can be used if you want to play it safe, but Lucina's going to get wiped out by tome users easily anyway, so you might as well make Lucina a glass cannon. If you check the page for Lucina on this site, then you'll see that the optimal skillset for her runs Life and Death 3. Also, by running Life and Death on her, that pretty much sets her at 52 atk and 41 spd, which is really good. However, her def will become 24 and her res will become 14, which is not very good, but Lucina never had good def or res to keep her alive.

I always thought she was a more capable physical tank when I faced her... now that I have her I realized that isn't the case lol. But the good news is I can't think of anyone besides Reinhardt that can one round her without being completely buffed or without swordbreaker so I can deal with her counters pretty easily. I would have gone with Fury if it were not for the -Atk, just because I feel like that extra bit of defense would have helped in a lot of situations

Honestly, good move for that unit, but you shouldn't invest in a Lucina, especially one with relatively bad ivs. You probably had something better to invest into, otherwise, I agree good move.
