Did the removal of flaws for merged characters affect how their bst is calculated for score weight in arena?
I'm thinking about 3 possibilities:
1. No change, bst still counted for base char.
2. Every merged character gets a 3 or 4 point bst boost.
3. If a superbane is merged away(as it doesn't display) the character doesn't get the 4 point penalty to bst, only regular 3. There's no way see which flaw a 5* has now, so mb that is something to keep track of for merge projects otherwise.

Something changed for sure. IS told us that this change WOULD affect arena scoring.

Exactly how I'm not sure, but my bet is on 2.

Since flaws are now neutral, the points you get (if I'm not mistaken), are based on your boon now. So, say P!Olivia who had 140 bst, now has 143 (or 144 if a superboon). That's how I see it.

Correct but, in terms of scoring 140 or 144 is exactly the same. Scoring works in brackets of 5 points. You would only get to the next scoring bin if you reached 145 bst

Something changed, I'm getting higher scores.

But there's just no way to tell if I should switch IVs on my B!Ephraim from +Res to +Atk. And I don't want to make a mistake.

EDIT: Nevermind... I just found this. Well, time to switch IVs on B!Ephraim. Also, now I'm glad I never went for +Spd on Sheena or stuff like that.
