Def/Res Link and Who the F Wants it

So, after pulling today (65 or so orbs, maybe less) I got a B Sanaki. I got boned over with like, 2 green orbs in 5 different circles so, yeah.

Now, to the question. She's -atk+def so not even worth thinking about using, at all. Like, no, just hell no. Not even as a raventome. So my first question was, what the hell do I do with Def/Res Link?!

Sure, I can fodder her for what, Atk/Res bond, but only if I don't find any good reason to actively do that right now, and as such I've decided to look into units that want Def/Res Link, and I have no clue other than Odin (or my crazy Saias build XD) so I've come here for advice.

Who do you guys think is a good candidate for Def/Res Link and why? You can include Odin if you so wish, just have to make him enticing enough for me to actually try it XD

Anyone with high defenses, give them swap to swap into place if your nuker doesn't get the kill.

Odin is arguably the best user of the skill of you give him refined Odin's Grimoire since he can buff all 4 stats on a unit just by using something like Reposition, or Swap. It increases his supportive capabilities by a wide margin, and it can make him a bit tankier thanks to his decent defensive stats.

Other than that, it really depends.

Odin because +6 to literally all stats. He's the best support unit in this sense; he can reposition a tanky armor unit and they'll have insane offenses as well as ultra boosted bulk (e.g. my Lissa would be 48/53/32/45/43 without other buffs like blessings and drives/spurs. Disgusting) He is also gets a lot of of it because Odin's Grimoire is a better bladetome, so he can tank units and can even use Heavy Blade because +24 gives him insane attack. What is this Saias build tho? I'd like to see/hear about it.

Honestly, Odin is the best candidate. With a single movement assist skill, that's +6 to not only his stats, but whoever he used his assist skill on. Plus, having a prf blade tome, that's an extra +30 damage Odin will do, which significantly helps patch up his abysmal attack stat. You can use Odin as both a supporter and an attacker depending on if he does the assist or his ally does.

I've been able to think of several candidates for def/res link:
- Odin - for example, have you seen my imitation Kliff Odin?
- L.Ephraim, especially with galeforce. Rush in, and when someone repositions him out, +6 to both their defenses.
- Firesweepers, for similar reason
- OHKO attackers using AoE specials, especially if they're cavaliers or fliers (and consequently can't use spiral)

Eirika (the original one). One positioning assist and she gets +12 Def/Res. It's ridiculously strong, and goes well with a Spd Wave to give her +12 Spd every other turn.

For some reason the site analysis doesn't even mention this set. The wiki correctly identifies it as her best option.
