Definition of Unlucky?

So got to 13% on the Lucina legendary banner, not a single 5* unit, and though I didn't try as hard I still didn't get a single one of the summer units nor the last set of new units. Oh, and not even another 5* within those banners either, ofc....

Then as soon as this new banner comes out I take all those free orbs and throw them in for the Micaiah and get 3 5* units; Grey, Lyn, and Morgan......... have I done something wrong recently to displease some kind of RNG god? Is it cause I managed to make a 5* Jaffar without needing to pay any money? Like seriously though, wtf is this luck!?

It's infuriating how just simply being THIS unlucky can make a man want to just uninstall this game to save myself from the constant disappointment....

I mean... if you aren't enjoying the game because of the summoning, then no one is forcing you to play but yourself.

Feel free to quit at any time; you shouldn't continue playing if your going to get this upset. (Too much salt is bad for your health.)

Well sometimes you are lucky and others not. I spent 300 orbs trying to get Linde in her last banner and I only got one 5 star and it wasnt her but now I got 3 focus with 56 orbs. Dont take it too personal!

Poker professionals sometimes run bad for months at a time. If you can't tolerate several banners, you might be better off playing a game with more predictable rewards. Otherwise, I suggest practicing orb discipline and getting what psychologists call "intrinsic reward" for it (as opposed to being perpetually focused on the results, which they call "extrinsic reward"). You will always have something at the end of a summoning session even if you get to 14% on a legendary banner and run out of orbs, which will mitigate the disappointment. Also, you will often fire at a banner not expecting to deplete your orbs (like me for over a month now), which really helps dampen how much variance can toy with you. If you get to 5% on something like YT banner like I did, you might still have over 100 orbs left (I had over 200 I think) and you will more often be able to persist until 2-3 rare units appear in one round.
