Defiant Skills and Bladetomes?!

Defiant skills work like a buff, don't they? so basically defiant atk under 50% HP gives a Bladetome user +7 (>Deathblow) and additional 7 from the tome?! Am I wrong?

I know it doesn't stack with hone buffs but for example I have a Bladetome S!Corrin but only fortify flier (no Hinoka until now). But I could boost her damage even further with Defiant Atk.

That's correct. Defiant atk gives additional 14 dmg to a blade user.

This is why Odin's kit actually made some sense preinheritance.

I love it when I pull Odin... The only trouble is deciding if I want to inherit away Blárblade/Blárblade+ or Moonbow? Oh hey, Red Tomebreaker...didn't see you there...come back when red mages are more common.
