Defensive team not getting wins anymore?

My dragon emblem with a random bonus unit didn't get me a single defensive win last week.
(They all had steady breath and aether, 2 were High merged).
I guess falchion users are too common nowadays, should I just put a WoM user in there?

Well, with all of them having a defensive set, its not really a problem to just let them come to you, and thus slaughter them when they are weakest.

Maybe so, but they always got me at least 5 wins per week.

Give them all fortress res. Victory is assured.

If I saw a team with all fortress res I would just concede so yeah, you're right.

Its hard to guess if that's it,the problem with having so many enemy phase units is typically you can just kill them when they attack.

You should put wom on a ranged unit so if the opponent fails to kill them by baiting the ranged unit can swoop right in ?
