+Defense -Speed M!Grima

Well M!Grima can run almost every common A skill effectively, Fury is great as a budget option and can be combined with Aether as a great synergistic, kinda budget(except for Aether but Chrom can be found as a 3* nowadays) and high scoring build(Ignis is also great, just mentioned Aether cause it helps with the after combat damage from Fury). Of course you can also use a Breath skill(which doesn’t stack with Vengeful Fighter but VF is still better than Quick Riposte for armored units cause of the HP threshold), or Distant Defense/Close Defense(his attack is already high so focusing purely on increasing his bulk can be pretty effective).

Even some other budget options can work, like Fortress Defense/Def+3/Res+3/Atk+3.
