Defending Arena Team Help!

So my current defending team can get some wins but it usually takes until two or one day left of the Arena for there to be any wins coming in at all. What would be a better team that could get so many more wins so much faster and build ideas for them because I am really bad at defending Arena. Well just Arena in general but that's besides the point. My current team is my Seliph, Fjorm, Genny, and Hector.

Depending on the seal, Hector is likely getting left behind when the AI plays. Maybe consider lending him Armored Boots to let him keep up.

If you have it spare, Wings of Mercy on Fjorm or Seliph could cause some surprise kills and lead to a few more wins. Just a couple of ideas.

My arena team is just my god lukas alone and this arena season i got 10-12 wins on the first day. Every season im getting 10+ wins with a solo unit. its not good though because you get a lot less points

Number of defense wins doesn't really matter much unless it just makes you feel good; you only need one. As said sometimes Wings of Mercy surprises people (including me).

I'd focus on bulking up arena offense instead. Defense is pretty minuscule in comparison reward wise.

Well I am bad at offense Arena too. I always get into tier 18 but can never stay in it. So I am stuck tier 17 always.

My Hectors seal is distance defense.

Focus on mobility. My best defense seasons come in when I run Halloween Nowi+guidance along with two or three armor units. I can't remember which write up says it, but the goal is to basically get the first kill so people trying to get deathless will just surrender without killing anyone. So high mobility is key to getting high scoring defense. Thats why Reinhardt and Brave lyn are so prevalent.

Mobility and annoyance. Reinhardt & brave Lyn may have the most dedicated counters in the meta but they’re still a pain. Wings of mercy on fast powerhouse units like Mia & Ayra who are likely to double you, poison dagger Kagero, genny with wrathful staff and dazzling staff, etc.

If it’s annoying to you, it’s annoying to your opponent.

I've been running Dragon Emblem to a pretty good effect in Arena recently, but since that's a fairly premium Emblem I wouldn't advise it if you're missing the proper units. I'm usually hovering between 18-20 depending on whether I have a current bonus unit or not.

I’ll say 2 things right now.

First and most important, it doesn’t matter how long it takes for you to get a defensive win. As long as you are consistently getting at least one 500+, you are doing your job. If the team consistently gets defend wins, it isn’t broken, so there is no need to fix it.

Secondly, it greatly depends on your team synergy and skills. A strong meta team cannot hold a match to the power of a strong hodgepodge team. The reason I say that: everyone at higher tiers will run meta counters that can singlehandedly destroy a meta team. They will not run hodgepodge counters. That was the secret to me discovering how to go from 0-1 defends a week to 3-10 defends per week. High SP skills and strong builds on high BST units or decently merged units will put you in the 700+ defensive weight range, which is enough to ensure your team will be fought A LOT, giving you critical chances for you to rack up defends early and often. From the looks of it, you aren’t running a bonus defense unit either, so I’d say making that change to start would be wise.
