DEF+ SPD- Cherche, good or nah?

I have a +def -spd cherche, should i wait for a +atk or is +def good enough?

+ATK is much better, but you can still use this one until you get the optimal IV Cherche. (+ATK-SPD with Brave axe+ is optimal since Cherche will never quad strike and almost always will be doubled with Brave axe)

I'd argue +Atk/-Res: after Flier buffs are in effect, her Spd manages to pick up quite a bit - not enough to consistently quad, sure, but enough that you can expect to deny doubles from the units that are more likely to matter (ie lances and axes). For reference, a Neutral Spd 4*+10 Cherche, with 1 Hone and 1 Goad applied, reaches 32 Spd - nothing spectacular, but can be the difference between life and death.

Going by the question, I'm assuming you're wanting to build a BA+ unit - you definitely want the Atk boon, but you can still build her up and hope for it to arrive if you really want to use her no matter what. Alternatively, you could use a Slaying build with that Def, but it's probably not worth the investment if you plan to switch.

Depends how much they value the 20k feathers plus refining stones/Amelia for the Slaying Axe, on top of the skills they'd have to kill separately for the build.

I used to have +def-res Cherche, I build her anyway before merging into my +atk-res Cherche.
Her a slot was her default +atk3, before changing it into deathblow 3. :3
