+Def / -Spd Celica

soo, I got Celica as my free summon with, I guess, the worst IVs she can have: +Def and
-Spd, can I still build her up as support or anything or should I just inherit her off?

If you already have a viable red mage just give someone her distant def

Thanks for your reply! I got a 4* Tharja, which I can hopefully promote soon, Lilina, Summer Leo and of course Arvis, so I will think about it.

Distant def IS a pretty good skill, especially now that there is a seal for it. You can make A LOT of insane builds with that, I would decide this based on whether you have a good candidate for such a build and a viable red mage (well you should definitely have one, since Arvis barely came out).

She's still functional but that -Spd will really hurt her.

A lot of units would appreciate Distant Def 3 though.
