I want to ask this because my luck with summoning is pretty bad, especially for specific units. I just summoned my first W!Tharja today, and saw she was -Def and +HP, and I think that having -Def on an armour unit might be pretty bad. Should I just suck it up and attempt summoning for one with a different boon/bane and keep this one for merging? Thanks in advance.
I have an atk+ def- W! Tharja and she is still one of my best armors. I have an owl time with a def refine, close counter, vengeful fighter, atk ploy, and close def 3 for her s slot and she is more than capable of maintaining her tankiness. Especially if you run her in an armor team and shes buffed with fortify or ward armor she manages to be a great wall even with a def bane.
Don't look at the bane. Look at the final stats. She still has a solid 31 Def +2 more on enemy phase from her Candle bra. Very serviceable. 1 pt better than winter Eirika and Nowi both, and you don't hear people complaining about their physical bulk.
Are you planning to +10 her and use to compete in the top tiers of arena where a few stat points can win the match and you must maximize every advantage? Then you will want to re-roll.
Or do you just want a interesting and usable unit with solid mixed bulk? Then don't worry about IV's.
