+def -attack Lene

I just pulled a Lene off the summer banner with kinda had IVs. I really want to use her, so I was thinking I'd keep safeguard, maybe put brazen attack/speed on her, wings of mercy, hone attack, and I'm not sure about a seal. I'm thinking safeguard will let her use brazen attack/speed without dying. Does this sound like a good idea?

I like more the idea of making her a defensive tank. You already have a +def IV and with the 7 more defense from safeguard when attacked (+4 more permanent def when refined) would turn her into an absurdly tanky dancer.

So brazen atk/def would be the choice here. You also might as well just ditch her attack completely and give her fortress defense. With Ignis as a special, she will easily kill some unit and if not, she will be a defensive wall to protect her allies, offering valuable utility.

I'd probably go for something like this and make her more enemy phase oriented. She's a dancer first, and a fighter second, so she really "shouldn't" be fighting too often unless you know she can win, or tank whatever is being thrown at her. With Safeguard and Close Def, she gains an extra 13 defense when attacked, and when in Brazen Atk/Def range, she gains 7 attack and 20 defense on enemy phase, allowing for her Bonfire damage to increase.

Although this might be "too much" in terms of investment.
