-Def +Atk L!Tiki

I didn't really care about her IVs at first, since she was +atk. But then I noticed that def is a SUPERBANE (-4 to the stat) which brings it down to 33. Should I run steady breath instead of her base kit breath instead?

Steady breath will make sense, but it might not actually be needed.
She already reliably gets +5 def as a field buff, which brings you to 38, which is already a solid value for an armored unit. Steady breath will also give you the def only in the enemy phase, so it won't be completely beneficial at all times and even though it would be useful, I think that the investment is kind of steep, because she will be good without it as well.

I also managed to get this exact IV and I was also thinking about steady breath, but so far, I haven't encountered a problem, because I'm either using her to kill melee enemies on player phase (where steady breath would be useless) or I'm letting her tank mages on enemy phase (where def is not needed).

No problem. If you still feel like the def is not enough, then just give her a sacred seal to fix it (close def, def3, atk/def2 maybe) or just use drive or spur skills (also ward armor/dragons is viable) on your team to help her with defense. The other valid option is also debuffing your enemy's attack, so having someone on her team with attack ploy or chill atk is a good idea as well. There are a lot of options to help with a weakness of your heroes.

It's a shame that we don't have that fabled 180BST tho thanks to that superbane xD

Looks like Tiki is very IV proof. She has 180 points to go around, FFS. She is still at 33/29 defensively. And 57 adaptive damage on enemy phase. You can easily buff up that defense or pile on more attack for ludicrous amounts of damage.

It's unfortunate that Def is a -4 bane, but when you think about it that is only 2 points to her unit score and she is still one of the best scoring units in the game.
