Deciding on merges

So I have a really big problem when it comes to building units. I build ones that interest me. not focusing on merges. Recently, I've been wanting to build up my Lloyd, but I could not get every single copy of him. I can only make him +3 instead of +4. I also want to keep building my Sheena, or start on my L'Arachel because she's on my arena defense. And then Linus had to be really good. What should I do?

You already stated that you want to build ones that interest you. You should choose one and stick to it until you cannot go further. Even if you don't have all the copies of Lloyd for example, you can still make him a +3 then you can switch to another project. Just don't split your resources too much. The key is focusing on one unit first.

In my case, I wanted to build a maxed dragon emblem team. I started with Nowi until I got her to +10 before switching over to Fae and then get her to +10. No other unit was getting feathers but my current build projects. If you do the same, it will pay off in the long run. It seems your Sheena has already got some momentum. You can focus on her first until you cannot progress anymore before completing her then go for L'Arachel because that will make use of your color coverage.
