How do different abilities that debuff the same stat interact? I'm aware that Res Ploy 3 will not stack with the Res Ploy 3 Seal, but will the Atk Ploy 3 seal stack with, say, Chilling Seal, for a total debuff of -11 ATK? Or will it simply take the higher of the two values, in essence overriding Chilling Seal's ATK debuff (but not its SPD debuff) effect?
Yes just the highest debuff will count.
The ONLY way to "stack" defuffs is if a buff is panic ployed
Say a hone calv on a unit affected with gunthras chilling seal. Will have +0 +0 atk and spd since it will cancel out
But when panic ploy it will be -12 -12 to atk and spd. -6/6 from the inverted buff + -6/6 from the actuall debuffs
Visible buffs, and debuffs, do not stack. If the instance of having Atk Ploy and Chilling Seal, the opponent would lose 6 Attack from Chilling Seal because Chilling Seal has the highest number.
Any buff, or debuff, that doesn't say "in combat" or something akin to that is usually a visible buff/debuff, so they don't stack, meaning that the highest number is applied.
