I have an armor emblem team and I have both Hector and LA! Hector, so I was considering foddering off distant counter to my +2 merged Effie, but I also think it would be a good idea to give it to the Zephiel that will have one more merge once I get enough feathers. My team currently, if you are wondering is LA! Hector, Hardin, Winter Robin and BK. Any suggestions as to who I should give this to or if I should keep the old Hector? Thanks!
If you like using armor units in AA, keep the old Hector, because he’s still extremely viable. You could use him in a team with Effie and Zephiel.
If OG Hector has a solid IV spread, I would still say keep him.
If you don’t care about AA or armor units outside your main team, or you have more than one copy of either Hector type, or just don’t care about keeping Hector, fodder off to a unit you will actually use, not just one that would look nice with DC.
I did that. foddered off my OG Hector to Effie and I wasn't disappointed in the least. I hardly used him as he had terrible IVs, so I thought if I was never going to use him might as well pass his DC to a unit. And when I got him again with bad IVs, I foddered him off to Myrrh. DC Effie with Berkut's Lance and HeavyBlade or Distant Defence is such a good unit. Although you said you have Hardin, as a blue armored unit he fills Effie's role perfectly as his weapon has distant counter built into it. So I don't think you need to fodder Hector off for now.
Same with your red armored units, you have BK and Zephiel, BK has DC built into his weapon. If you didn't have Hardin, I would say yes, fodder Hector off to Effie, but I think you're good for now.
