I actually kinda agree. Though, it depends on the dagger and the unit. So, I'd have to say maybe, just maybe. XD

I'm not so sure why built-in CC is better than the 7-point debuff to def and res. I know I would prefer to debuff their atk and spd, but I'm not sure I would prefer CC over debuffs to def and res.

I have fodder for this, (of You talked about dagger e instead of Christmas dagger) but instead of changind weapon, why not foddering a kaze for atk smoke And create a Seal of spd smoke?
You could debuff -7 all instead of -6, also You keep the good weapon for owl eff

Even if they would be better with it, does that mean all dagger units should just get to come with one of the rarest and most expensive skills in the game?

While we're on the topic, I'd enjoy dagger units with a built-in (fire)sweep skill even more tbh.

A dagger with built in close counter is appropriate since daggers are meant to be close ranged weapons in the first place.

I've said a few times they need innate close counter. Also have spammed IS the suggestion. I love dagger units, I hate how much they suck.
