CYL: split your votes or all-in for 1?

I just cast my second ballot and chose Leon and seeing him alongside Benny on my ballot made me wonder, are more people splitting their votes between multiple characters or giving all 7 of their votes (on one device, that is) to one unit in particular?

I personally want to have different votes but I'm a flier fan so all 7 of mine will be pegasus and wyvern riders.

Cool. I don’t have a favorite unit in particular but I do plan to vote for either Jill, Marcia, or Gerome for fliers, maybe Florina, Tana, Haar, or Reina

Split votes. I want more units in the game and i want them all (Like Mikoto and Grima which i voted yesterday and today)

Since im a sacred stones fan, most of my votes will be going there. Im probably gonna focus on 3 to 4 units. My first was Myrrh, today i went Gilliam cause i feel we need more lance armor thats not holiday based.

All my votes are going to Celica. She is bae.

My 7 votes belongs to Tibarn. We need more character's for other's serie's except Fates e Awakening. We will have a new's special character's in Febuary, and guess what? All Awakening and Fates, this pissing me off....

Sumia, Owain, and Severa are a couple people really want added, as the latter two are crap in their Fates forms, which no one likes as much anyway.

Flora, Arete, Kana, Caeldori, and Selkie would all be great additions from Fates. Honestly, even Fates fans don't want more special Fates characters anymore. My favorite character is Azura, but man the New Year's version was sooo disappointing. Didn't even feel like Azura anymore.

That's the problem: Azura is already in the game, in 3 forms already. The App need equilibium between serie's, look Lucina for example: 4 unique Lucina, I like her, she have a great personality but come on, enough of Lucina. We need more diferent's hero's...

Am a Fates fan, can confirm about not wanting more special characters. I'd so much rather have the missing Fates characters (Kaze's the one I want most, followed by Mitama, Midori, Ophelia, and non-limited Shigure) than another freaking seasonal Camilla variant. I'm also specifically not voting for Azura in the CYL poll despite her being one of my favorite characters, because we really don't need a fourth version of her, at least not for a very long time.

I can understand why they initially chose to focus on limited units from recent games, but it's getting silly now. (Also, SoV is a recent game, so where the heck are our seasonal SoV units? Give me seasonal Celica please.)

I can respect votes for tibarn, I’m still playing RD but he’s awesome and I might throw a vote his way. I can see the annoyance of the amount of fates/awakening cahatcters to many fans, personally I’m just tired of seeing the same main cahatcters like the fates royals and then chrom and Robin and tharja, I’d be fine with awakening and fates stuff if they actually used more than just Camilla, Azura, and tharja over and over and over

Yes, exactly! Azura is my favorite character, but I wasn't at all excited about New Year's Azura. Performing Arts is by far my preference, I was counting down the minutes until her release, that's how excited I was.

Tibarn, alongside with Caineghis and Naesala, makes the Radiant Dawn unique in terms of plot. I played almost every FE game and did not see one with such an interesting storyline. Sure, Michalis is very cool, Valter and Ashnard is very good too, but the laguz fight with Zelgius (or Begnion Senator's) holy crap, it's epic.
On topic: If we look the catalog heroes, almost 50% is Fates and Awakening, this is too much for 2 games when we have a series with more than 10 titles and worst: more than 20 repetitive heroes... this must be change.

I split them just simply because I love so many characters in the series and there are already a lot of characters who I'd normally vote for that are already in the game. It is interesting to see whether or not characters like Lucina or Camilla will still be rated highly, or whether characters like Celica and Hector may come out on top this time around. I hope Marth gets some love, he's the character that brought the franchise over here alongside Roy in Melee and he hasn't gotten anything special yet.

I'm hoping Celica gets in the top 4 and that I can get Flora into the top 50, that way she'll get a shot at being a possible Farfetched hero if they do that again.

I'm splitting my votes, since almost none of my favorites have a realistic chance of winning whether I invest one vote or seven, I might as well give as many characters a voice as I can. I'm focusing most of my votes on characters who aren't in the game yet (Miriel, Vaike, M!Morgan, Kaze, Kliff), with one vote going to F!Robin (because she's my ultimate favorite and I'm obligated), and one to Owain (because his current version doesn't count). Almost voted Odin instead of Owain just because we so don't need another power creep-y sword user, but I realized Owain is probably more likely to get votes, and honestly I'd be happy to have him in any form that doesn't suck.
