Guys, who did you use your free summon?

I was planing on using it in the one I couldn't get, but i ended up getting all of them with mostly good IVs.

I'm thinking of just waiting for longer in case I need any of the skills they have for fodder.

What are your thoughts?

Veronica is objectively the best choice for a free summon.

Because objectively everyboy's play style is identical and all barracks have objectively the same needs at every moment in time regardless of composition.

Almost every f2p guide will feature veronica as a f2p unit as she has far more utility than the other choices.
Veronica IS objectively the best free unit to choose, just like Blyn was objectively the best freebie to choose last year.

It's a ballpark estimate based on the amount of butthurt abyssal modes induced in the playerbase on 4chan, reddit, twitter, and serenes forest. Not only that but recently a very unscientific analysis was done on redditors and it was found that the majority of redditors that play feh havent even unlocked the weapon refinery yet, and many others can't even complete story modes on lunatic.

The playerbase is by and large retarded, don't let a couple of people that know what theyre doing obscure reality. Just look at how many players show up here of all places asking really stupid questions that could be answered by simply having a 4th grade level of reading comprehension.

The majority of players are retarded, and veronica is IntSys' way of having some mercy on them.

You can't really give an estimate on the amount of "retards" that play this game just because of how many people have trouble with Abyssal mode, which is a mode that inflates the enemy's stats to high hell.

Also, how many people in that "very unscientific analysis" on Reddit was taken into account in that... analysis? Now compare that number to how many people play FEH, because going from the Play Store's stats (I dunno how reliable this can be, however), FEH's had over 5 million downloads (and even then I dunno how many of that 5mil+ actually play FEH).

You're gonna need a bit more of a reliable source than a Reddit analysis and other sites when not everyone that plays FEH even goes to those sites before you can call the majority of the player base retarded.

Furthermore downloads are unreliable because of mass rerolling being a thing that tons of players did, and not only that but factoring in casuals that had no idea what fire emblem is and just play it as a time killer and dont have any desire to get involved with the community because its just a mobile game.

And then we got the fact that those four sites the the largest fire emblem communities on the internet. Its a safe bet to make in judging the playerbase off of general dumbassery that goes on in them.

You, now, since you're actively ignoring every other site I've been looking over since abyssal mode was added, and you're only focusing on the reddit study even I said was garbage. You're choosing to be stupid, and thats retarded.

I've been to Serenes, Reddit and every other site you mentioned, and the salt is minimal, most of it people saying they're not going to do it because the reward isn't to their taste. I for one have been on all these, and I honestly don't see a reason to validate your claims because they are false.

And might I add, as a guy who pretty much breathes in reddit for FEH more than here (And I post here a lot) I can very much say that I have not seen a single study related to abyssal and player completion. That's a FEH Survey page tab in a nutshell and they're still working on the Catalogue and player completion, so you're wrong on that remark as well.

I'd estimate somewhere around 20%-40% of his posts contain ad hominem that just attempts to bluff his point through by force of insult. The tricky part about it is that those points actually half make sense intuitively so it's easy to miss that he's just making bare assertions.

In my defense, I typically only adhom when i'm adhom'd first, and generally that only happens when people decide i'm wrong because either A. they dont like me or B. they disagree with what I say and believe adhominem is the best course of action.

Ok we are getting off topic on what this post is about. By the end of the day who gives a fuck about how 90% of 200 people were retards on playing? I sure dont, hell they dont say if kids/adults were the group they went so take those sites with a grain of salt. Now onto topic, veronica is the only healer with a devastating set that goes well with almost ALL team setups thats a guarantee for those low on orbs or have been unlucky in summons on the free choose banner.

Sorry, I do have a habit of straying off topic when I see things like this. I do agree that Veronica is an amazing unit that practically any and every team can use because of her base kit.

Never base players from those sources, they only seek kids that just want to play the game which is half the player base. Do you think kids care about playing the game right or do they just want to have fun on it? Those sources usually base there numbers inflated with kid players to make there article's worthwhile to read.

Edited: also you have to base the player count that have quit the game before all the weapon refinery update hit.

As for my own reply to your follow-up, none of what you wrote there in any way establishes that Veronica is objectively best. If you want to defend your claim that Veronica is objectively best using some version of that line, you would you would need to demonstrate that being able to use f2p guides is objectively the best thing anyone can get out of their CYL2 free pick, and if you want to assert that, you are seriously talking out of both sides of your mouth after all the defamation you have spread insisting that people need to improve their game.

I chose Ephraim since he was my favorite of the units chosen.

I took Celica. She actually interests me the least of the four as a unit, but it saves me having to pull for her later if I want db4 fodder, and red focus units tend to be expensive in orbs.

I still haven’t chosen. If you’d asked me at the beginning I’d have said Hector is the unit my roster needs most, while Veronica is the shiny one that I actually *want* most. This of course means that so far I’ve pulled only Celica and Ephraim. I’m happy to have them both, but I’m not looking forward to having to choose between Veronica and Hector. Might see how many orbs I can scrape together before the end of the banner and pull only blue and colorless until I get one of them or run out, but seeing as how I only have 8 orbs to my name right now the odds do not look promising.

Veronica as to me she is the best as a unit. I’m currently Summoning for Celica.

I personally chose Big Daddy Hector because I don't have very many good armored units. I would say your choice really depends on what skill you want to fodder, who you want to merge, or whatever else you want to use the free summon for.

I was going to pick Veronica but I managed to summon her (and Ephraim). I'm presently contemplating if I should still free summon a neutral copy as her IVs (+Atk -Res, oddly enough Ephraim got same IVs!) make it hard to follow guides that will use her.

If I don't go for neutral Veronica I think I'll pick Celica to put in team with Boey, Mae & Genny. :3 ...but I'd really prefer to summon her!

Just use fortress RES seal, that'll "change" her IVs for you

That works when she does not need another seal, which unfortunately seems to be the case quite often. I'd fodder her Fortress Res were it more available. I don't have the heart to let go of my only Innes and even less of Gunnthrá.

Fortunately I have still time left to stall.

I visited the Brave Banner proper first, as two of the four units interested me. Got one of them--Hector--that way. The freebie was my original choice: Veronica, who is actually quite solid.

If you need advice, just go with whoever you like most or, if you have roles that need filling, pick the one who can fulfill it. Alternatively, if you'll not be using any of them, pick the one with a skill you want to pass down.

In a previous post, you mentioned that you were you were foddering off your spare Hectors. If you arent gonna build up Hector (out of anyone) I dont know where your priorities are. Close youre eyes and yolo summon, my dude. Or hold off on your summon until youre despearate for fodder

I seem to have explained myself very poorly
With 380 orbs I managed to pull 4 Veronicas, 4 Hectors, 1 Celica, and 1 Ephraim (and 1 Lene)
I got absurdly lucky here
I just want to know if I should wait to redeem my free summon until I actually need to or if there's a good reason to use it now
And I'm also curious about what people have chosen

I choose Hector because I really needed another blue armor unit (I have Hardin already) to be a substitute blue on my Water Blessing Team (as well as assembling Hector Emblem;only the regular version to go!).

I went for veronica cause i need to replace Lachesis, she just cannot do well with that poor speed of hers.

I was torn between Hector and Veronica but after struggling with Marth Infernal mode I went with Veronica. I'm so glad I picked her. She's a great choice if you need a neutral unit for the abyssal and infernal f2p guides. However, everyone's situation is different. So If you want to fodder one or even create a merge for one of you units that's fine too. You have till CYL3 next year to make a choice so there's no rush.

I would have summoned on the banner for Hector cause I lack a good blue armor unit, but the dancer banner drained my orbs. So I'll have to wait till next time for him.
