Crippling Depression Team comp

I apologize if the title is a bit much to you.

This team comp is called this for a reason due to the great synergy between two heroes. This team or rather these two heroes together can make it devastating to try and take down in one round due to the debuffing capabilities. These two heroes focus around Corrin(F) and Saizo respectively, while the other two heroes can be filled with what ever but preferably fast hard hitting fighters.

As you might know, Corrin(F) is the only FAST tanky dragon type and can only make this build effective due to her being surprisingly difficult to KO and her high speed stat for a tank. Her native weapon which fits this build Dark Breath+ is the stronger offensive debuffing weapon, dropping -6 to both atk/spd. She's also not hard countered by Falchion lords, because her speed is high enough to avoid follow up attacks against Lucina (Includes a +spd and Fury 3 to hit 40 speed)

She works very well with Saizo due to his native Smoke Dagger+ which provides the same debuff but into the enemie's defensive stats, inflicting -6 to both def/res. If both initiates onto any targets, any enemies that are within 2 spaces of the target that was attacked are inflicted -6 on all stats. This team is very good on the defense and the debuffs should not be underestimated. However if fighting against this team during the offense, this can get out of hand extremely quickly and would leave you in a tough situation to pull yourself out of, as your team has been completely crippled in both offense and defense, causing them to receive heavy retaliation damage and do very minimal amounts of damage. Approach with caution if you stumble across this specific team comp, or you might find yourself assassinated (Saizo) or be consumed by darkness (Dark Breath+)

I do recommend you try this out, it's a very fun and interesting way to build a defense team or even try using it offensively if you already received the best score you can get in the arena. Although you can pass over Corrin(F) and Saizo's weapon to other heroes, most of the dragon units are too slow and Saizo is the only ninja that has a decent attack stat coupled with a great defense stat.

That sounds pretty damn viable. Have you tried it out?

Yes I have and it was quite devastating, the enemy was unable to even scratch Corrin if they aren't a green unit but even then they still take heavy amounts of damage and will either be unable to double, or be doubled if the speed debuff was enough to put them into range for Corrin to double them. Saizo is tanky for a ninja and with a +spd nature and Fury 3, his speed hits 40 which is enough to avoid double attacks from the notoriously fast units.

Obviously the other two heroes must be supplied with Spur, Hone or Fortify type skills to buff stats, because the Threaten skills are unnecessary due to the debuffs supplied by Corrin and Saizo

This may be a good enough offense strategy but four things to note. First is that Smoke Daggers inflict their status debuff on enemies around the target and not the enemy itself, which has messed me up a few times.

The second is that for defense there are many ways people can counter this. Reinhardt along with several other brave weapon users can take her out without taking any damage if they have Death Blow. Also Julia can tear through Corrin (F) with one shot.

Third Saizo also has low resistance like Corrin (F) so if a spell caster takes out Corrin (F) and then gets Danced then odds are they will be able to also take out Saizo.

Fourth, on rare occasions an enemy unit may have harsh command as a support skill. Thus all those penalties you inflict can suddenly can become boosts.
