Crazy build with bad iv LGrima

Well, since Grima herself lacks the defencess for taking damage, i decided to try player phase build with her. This picture from feh unit builder, not from my game since i dont have LnD fodder at the moment. So, what do you think about it?

Thanks for all help i recieved, i realy appreciate it.

Why Bonfire? She'd only be up to 31 defense (Fortify Dragon/Fliers, or Def Tactic), so it seems a bit odd, at least for me anyway, to put that there.

It doesn't look bad, but I dunno if Expiration is the "better" Breath skill to go for if she's going to be Player Phase. You could probably go for either Light Breath+ or Dark Breath+ to better help the team as a whole. Just my opinion.

Ah just forgot to change it. Will swap that for moonbow or draconic aura.
As for breath i had thoughts of changing expiration for something better. Light breath seems like a bit better option due to stat boost. Thank you for advise.
Still, wich of the specials would you choise for her? Draconic aura seems much better, but moonbow will proc faster. Maybe i should use glimmer for her?

I find the 37 speed to be kinda sub-average for a player-phase unit, she's not going to be doubling that much with that and the -5 def/res will really hurt on enemy phase.

You could try running Dark Breath to circumvent this, that'd also allow you to refine it and reach 40 spd while also inflicting -7 ATK/SPD when you attack, effectively bringing your spd up to 47. You'd lose out on the Distant Counter, but if you're player phase, it's not that important.

I'd also run Fury over LnD, but that's just preference

Saddly but no. Hone spd + spurr spd is probably maximum she will get. I'm not building her for arena mode, just for arena assault. Is it that terrible idea?
For arena i have hone + fortify flier combo so i can use her in flier emblem team.

Wouldn't say it's a bad idea, you'll just have to do Losba said and give her a Breath and refine it for speed, that way she can activate Desperation in a more reliable fashion.

I thought of swapping expiration for something better, just didn't know which of breaths will be best for her. Thanks for another good idea.
I choose LnD over Fury to get as much speed as possible, since she is -spd, wich is 32 spd base. Also, wich special should i pick for her? I have 3 option in mind: draconic aura, moonbow and glimmer. Draconic aura seems to be best of those 3, but has relatively high special cooldown...

Always glad to help.

And that's difficult to say, since they all do well in different situations. You could run some tests on Kagerochart and see which has the most favorable matchups out of those three, that usually does the trick for me.

Haha this is actually my build for L!Robin xD As someone who is already using the build, I can say it works really well!.....with support.

My L!Robin is good buddies with Myrrh, who has Hone Dragons and Michalis, who has Hone Flies so she constantly has 6+ to SPD and ATK and that is typically enough to double everything while putting her into desperation and then she become unstoppable lol.

I've not invested in a +SPD breath because I don't really think its necessary. I mean if she's gonna be a part of your Core Arena Three then sure but other than that, its not really worth the investment.

So yeah long story short, the build works amazingly with a little assistance. Oh and Bonfire is a placeholder so ignore that lol.

Thank you a lot for sharing your experience with this build. I'm glad that even -spd Grima can be salvaged. I thought that i wont be able to save her.
She will be fine without support for arena assault, right?

It depends I guess. 40 spd is alright but you'll probably need a little more to reliably double. Even a Hone SPD/Drive SPD buff should suffice but I wouldn't feel entirely comfortable just leaving it at 40.

But like I said it depends. If you purposely only target slow heroes then 40 will definitely do.
