Coolest looking damage art

We all know the sexy damage art, for ladies and men. But while I was checking out Lon'qu because of his refine, I noticed just how badass he looks in that art.

Cuts all over his arm, wounds are generaly pretty rare even in damaged art. A beautiful sword right in the centre. A strong defencive stance. Sweat dripping off his face..(no homo)
In general just very badass.

So I went around some unit's that look pretty cool with their damaged art, I'll post em below.
Florina especially stands out as a 'come get me, b*tch' look.

The art in general is one of the things I love most about this game.

PenekoR also does some badass art

Eldigan/Ares both look absolutely vicious in their damaged versions. That's probably the demon sword doing its work.

I just love how well Valter's fits with his death in Fe8

More like a demigod. I love Zelgius's art. All of Daisuke Izukas stuff

I can't get around the skirt. He looks like a prom queen that got mad because someone ruined her dress. My gf also once had a mad lightning aura around her when I stepped on her dress once...granted, she doesn't look like Hardin (luckily), but she was just as infuriated.

Hahaha yea I guess some of the royal figures had that kind of dress with their armor, I'm not too familar with medieval fashion, but I don't mind it for Hardin, its like a Sith Lord look or smt. When I saw it on Brave Ephraim, I didn't like it as much

With Hardin it at least has the same color as the rest of his armor

Yeah, medieval fashion and armor setups are also not my major interest, although I could imagine that having a long skirt like that would really inconvenience you in battle (imagine stepping on it when you are marching into battle. Arden (for example) looks like a battle-ready armor god, whereas these dresses look more parade-ready. I don't have a big problem with it tho...it's a fantasy game afterall.

I have it equipped and have seen Armor March used on a lota Hardin builds and have imagined he'd always fall on his face in the field with that long ass skirt

I think I'll have to agree with this one. Yet one more reason I want him in my army.

That's actually a fair point...I'll give an alternative. I'll be going from my recent memory, but Garron looks absolutely menacing in his damaged art. You can almost feel him saying: "now you fucked up, son" or you can feel him grunting heavily, depends on your viewpoint.

I do love how well the tears in the fur coat look. They really look like how you'd think tearing fluffy fur looks.
And I like to imagine that Corrin is the one slashing with dragon claws

Soeda Ippei really knows how to make realistic art. The facial expressions and the small clothing details are really impressive. His other works are also impressive. Walhart's idle animation is perfect for example...he looks really imposing...much more than in awakening.

He doesn't look like he took any damage. He's just standing on top of a windy mountain

The hits he received were merely just a minor inconvenience. He's more bothered by the mountain air messing up his perfect hairstyle.

Soleil's damaged art always looked to me like she's grinning because she's found a challenge and enjoying the fight.

Camilla's too, for all the cleavage-based fanservice, her axe looks like it's on an upward swing to the groin and her expresion suggest she'll then tear you limb from limb.

Pretty great, I kinda like this artist. Even though I would love a Zephiel with a more 'regulair' artstyle.

He looks like he's losing but hasn't given up.

Or getting ready to crush someone's skull.

I don't really like his art style, especially his special art but overall his art is much better than Ogma's.

I do like the lightning behind him though.
I think Ogma is fine, even if he used way too much skin oil.

It's not all about that skin oil but rather his muscle shape, his face for me, special art is quite nice tho.

People don't tend to like AKIRA artworks, but for me he does the best damaged arts of all, lon'qu is a great example but take a look on Raven too, or Hector, or even Olivia. He drew all of those and they are pretty awesome because they are not like "oh shit they got me" they are like "Is kill or be killed"

Gotta post this guy too, in honor of the refines.
Too many artists forget to draw a quiver.
But his damage art makes use out of it to show Innes won't give up when he has a chance.

A lot of people are salty about 2 5* refines

But I'm overjoyed that two of my favorite characters are getting boosts. Three accually, Lon'qu is great as well.

As for her art, unlike some other princess characters, it really shows that Tana is very ready to be a soldier. And I think it shows her as more mature than most princesses in FE.

Yeah, people are salty that they chose two 5* exclusives instead of 3/4* heroes that also need it. As much as I can understand that point, the game is definitely going to have a long lifespan, so the veterans will get their refines eventually.

Wish I had Innes tho...I hoped to get him on one of the leg.banners where he appeared, but I don't know if I'll want him enough to delve into the eventual "new power" banner that will come after the new refines drop.
