So, i'm curious about things, as per usual. When do you guys run things like Luna vs Moonbow vs Aether, Glimmer vs draconic aura vs draconic fang. If you run things like vengeful fighter I know 4 turn and 5 turn specs are preferred, but what about running things like flashing blade or heavy blade, should I run a 2 turn spec or a draconic aura since she'll always get the +1 proc. Just curious if you have some insight on when to run which
With heavy blade I still prefer something like dragonic aura because without vengeful fighter or quick riposte there's gonna be imposible to crack a special with 4 or more turn cooldown. Always thinking in a unit with very bad speed, because if the unit has more than 36 speed I think that, with heavy blade, a 4 turn cooldown special can work easily :)
It literaly just depends on how you want to play the unit. Wheter it has desperation. Whether you want to set up for kos next turn. Literaly just do what males sense to you and what fulfills your needs.
For exaple. Monbow heavy blade is the prefered set for alm so he can KO 95% of the meta...but i like him to have some enemy phase potential so i run him with dragon fang. It allows him to still nuke something outside of double lion and to be able to bait if need be.

If you’re running heavy/flashing blade, the answer will vary depending on if you want a unit to have a charge special ready to use on the same for, or for someone else the next turn.
Say for example you’re using a unit who’s goal is to engage a unit with the use of a firesweep weapon and heavy/flashing blade. In this case it would be best to go with a 2 charge special like moonbow as your goal is to charge and fire the special on the same target due to their inability to fight back as well as your own inability to counter attack on the enemy phase ruling out charging for later as an option.
Say we swap out the firesweep for a wodao weapon and our plan is to use the special on the same target we will charge up on. In this case we would go for a 3 count like Luna or draconic aura as both have scaling or otherwise bonfire/iceberg if reliable chunks of damage is preferred.
In the case we wanted to save the special for a new target and we doubled the charge target, then we will want to go for a 5 turn special in which case it would be aether for nuking the next enemy or gale force to take another turn.
If you want to save it for later and your unit probably won’t double the charge target go for a 4 turn special as the flow would be 2-1-1-FIRE on the enemy phase draconic fang or Astra for scaling, and Ignis/glacies for consistency. If you want vantage to be part of this then go back to a 3 charge cooldown special, as you’re not gonna get the extra charge off the enemy attack, thus you want to have a special ready to fire. Though in this case you REALLY SHOULD be using a breath skill for charging your special as blade skills are offensively oriented.
