Considering a Roy build

I have this idea:

IVs: -HP +Def
Binding Blade (+Eff)
Flexible
Aether
Warding Breath
Guard/Renewal
Flexible
Close Defense

Kinda going for a bit of mixed bulk but still specialized as a dragon baiter. How does that look? I've thought about waiting until I get DC fodder, but I don't know when that'll be.

Warding Breath and Aether without being able to counter from a distance. That just seems so wrong. I mean if you're going for a purely dragon counter you want +RES, -DEF. At least that way he's doing what you want even better.
