Comparison between Langrisser and FEH/FE

So, for those unaware, there's a game series known as Langrisser. More fantasy-esque rpg's that are tactical, with art that's more over the top fire emblem (more generic anime look IMO). Now , here's a comparison regarding art, combat and story for the two series.

Edit 1: Just watch this.

Comments say you should.

Notes: They've only had 6 Games(one in the making), so that should be a good indicator of how the series has done overall commercially. With their first game to the US bombing hard (Re:Incarnation Tensei)(Also dumb name)
The newest game is out in a China only version (the one claming to be better than FE, and a mobile game to boot with similar rates to Dragalia if I;m not mistaken). Sages did a review, and mentioned it in a video, so if you want a good explanation (though not in depth or based solely on tactics cause Sages isn't known for that) then it's the video for you, short, sweet and to the point.

PS: Do note that, for those that are really curious. Go ahead and look into the series, watch a video or two to get the feel. I may find the games boring, but they have a fanbase and if you like it, then that'd be cool as well.

PPS: Also, lemme know bout grammar errors. Peace!

You know....a pic (video) is worth a thousand words. You could have linked a video or something. Instead of just rambling on about something we havent seen.....

I did specify Sages' video.

And the point wasn't to simply ramble. It was to give my idea on the games incase anyone was curious about what the earlier post was about.

IE, if you wanted me to look up a link, literally just asking for one would have sufficed.

If its not at the beginning or the end. It might as well not be there. Next to no ones gonna read through all that or google up the game, without some sort of reference to what the game actually looks like.

First thoughts are that I don't like the chibis (and I don't like the accessories in FEH because decorating a chibi is ridiculous) or the fact that there are lobsters/such things as enemies (although I'm fine with the way this was done in Golden Sun), but the arts out of combat look good, I think.

I don't think I care to play a Langrisser mobile, because of the idle boasting or the lobsters frankly.

There are some mobile games that look good but that I won't play because of how long they've been out, because I like to join gachas when they start and stick with them so as to be maximally competitive. I quit Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links once I had started to feel that I had fallen behind in card collection, but I log in to Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation everyday because you can get any card by purchasing the right pack.

I deleted Dragalia because of the cartoonishness and the bad pull rates. If Langrisser also has bad pull rates, then ugh.

Hmm yeah I could see that being a pretty big factor in picking games overall.

I've tried to join games midway (cough, FGO, cough) and it's a mess (plus their gaccha system is bad)

But I do think the biggest thing we digress on is the art. It's just so weird to me. Like, the only two buxxom and weird designs in FEH are in Fates where it's Camilla, Charlotte, Orochi and Kagero. But in like the first 5 minutes of Langrisser I'm met with boobasaurus rex extreme version. XD

I like about 60% of the arts in the vid amoebas posted. We also can't pretend that FEH is completely even in this regard, there are characters like Arthur and F!Grima that have a weird art. And there are other sexified characters in FEH, like Spring Tana.

Oh, another thing I hate is some of the names ("Kalxath") and elf ears. Of course FEH has elf-eared characters in the manaketes, so I am a hypocrite.

Me personally i dont care about the art (unless it leans NSFW).
Its all about the underlying game mechanics imo. And FEH feels like an extremely watered down version of fire emblem.

The new game looks to be a better balance between a mobile and a full game. Like they have a world map with dungeons. So seems like itll inherenly have more endgame content than FEH. Like they can have legendary swords hidden in dungeons. Not like FEH where its just: autobattle TT for orbs and seals or reroll arena for the win.

Like you can actually progress through the game and make decisions. Here its just: beat maps for orbs

I'm a closed beta player from that game and I can tell you that it's what FEH should of been. I explained about it on another post here is the link if anybody is interested.
