Come on Camilla players in VG. Stop playing!!

Last hour we were in SAME status against Kagero but we were behind. Now this hour we are in SAME status again and have actually closed the gap between us. Why can't it just be a consensus that if you're the team that's behind you just stop playing so that we can get back to multipliers quicker!!

The more casual Players might not really know the mechanic well enough and might just waste their flags away.

I keep thinking GamePress should have a section for tips and tricks that has things like this outlined along with other small things that should be common knowledge to veterans but not for newer players.

I always imaged there are a few million who have no idea wtf is happening and a few million who know exactly how it goes... so if the few who stop just wait, the multiplier will come again because there are not enough of those who do play to equal the other teams rush during their bonus.

I kind of wonder if all of this doesn't really matter until the last couple hours though.

Some people enjoy doing their battles, geez. If they're not wasting flags without waiting for a bonus, it doesn't really matter. In fact, the whole VG doesn't really matter.

It's this mentality that causes stalemates to last longer than they should. I'm all for playing for fun but VG is a team game. So you should be playing to help your team out and not just for yourself. There are plenty of other modes in the game for that.

People want their feathers, and want to enjoy playing the game. I know I enjoy using some random folk's unit, and even if it's really bad, it's still meme material. Like I said, I don't think anybody really cares about VG to the point where who wins and loses is a huge deal to them.

You want your feathers? So then you want there to be multipliers. Being in a stalemate hurts your chances of getting feathers. You're right, who wins and loses doesn't matter, but being in a stalemate does.

I mean, I get what you mean, but I don't even think it's people's fault. IS killed the whole point of voting gauntlet when they introduced the multiplier BS. Because of this, it's not about the popular characters wining (as it was supposed to be, IMO) and some people just don't care anymore and just want to abuse the multiplier so they can get more feathers, no matter the outcome. I mentioned this in the survey actually.

Something that a lot of people don't realize is that the multiplier has a timer once it begins and doesn't end until the timer does regardless of how close the scores get. A team that is 1M behind can end up 2M ahead and still have a multiplier as the scores only update at the beginning of each hour. That's why Team Kagero and Team Camilla are so close. One team gets a huge boost through the multiplier which gives the other team a multiplier when the scores are counted at each hour. If the multiplier didn't exist and the VG was purely on who was the most popular, then one team would be drastically higher than the other and stuff like Shanna beating Takumi wouldn't happen. Because of the multiplier, even if one team has a much lower number of players, they can win because of the huge multipliers they receive if they fall behind. I remember I was on a team two or three VGs ago and our team got an almost 12x multiplier because we were losing, but when I checked the next hour, we were ahead and we lost the bonus.

Despite being on the enemy side, I can sympathize. I've endured matches in past gauntlets in which I hoped that my (trailing) side's activity would lessen in hopes of obtaining the multiplier, then got disappointed when the last hour comes and the drop was not enough to trigger a multiplier.

That's the problem right there: no way to communicate with allies effectively. When one asks to halt gauntlet activity, very few will get the message.

yup, same thing on the Catria VG, only got a 3.6 multiplier on the 2 days...still lost in the last hour -.-
