Combat manuals

So say u made a fodder a combat manual but later down the line u wanted to build that unit instead. Can u revert them back to units? Or are they forever books? If u can revert, how?

They're forever books.

This is why it's best to fodder all but 1 unit into combat manuals; saving the best IV one for later prevents regret.

This, always do this! I spent a few hours analysing IVs for ALL my 3-4* units, and then converted everything into manuals except the best IV of each unit. If the unit had a perfect IV I would give them a certain color, if the IV could be improved I would give them a different color.
