coloured dagger inheritance

i haven’t actually gotten an elincia yet, and i have a specific build idea for her, but i don’t know if coloured daggers can inherit regular daggers. i assume it would be the same rules as bows right? lyn can get brave bows and all that. i hope they can cos i really wanna give elincia starfish+
