welp... i got an eldigan. normally thatd be great. but guess what??? -ATK +HP sucks the most ass in the world for iv's. srsly what am i supposed to do with iv's like that??? theres nothing even remotely cheesey that i can do with those iv's unlike +res or sum. nope IS just gives me +HP. *sigh* well now its time to save orbs for the next hero fest. if this has taught me anything, powercreep isnt worth going for.

mhm i guess im lucky to have my Lucina +Atk -Res with some amazing builds. she runs LnD3 desperation3 as well as Fury3 vantage3 so yeah... blessed for one unit. lmao

Those aren't bad, Eldigan can actually benefit from +HP imo. You can put Fire or Earth boost on him.

but -atk man... -atk. that alone nerfs his killing power from great to meh. idk maybe ill play around with builds on kagero charts or another sim but still, -atk man, -atk...

actually, yeah. I mean, I didn't really take a look at what he could do with those, but there's usually some work-around and potentially wacky builds to fall back on. Personally, I've been "blessed" with a +Def/-Atk Charlotte, to which I've tried to maximise on her Def to and have her rely on it to an extent (Fury S-support Charlotte is basically Effie in durability).

mhm. cheesy builds are kinda what i live for. ill just need to invest a lot into him as opposed to just getting good iv's. also fuck you IS for putting ayra in the same banner as him. I want one but get the other. (i wanted an eldigan got an ayra. wanted an ayra for the + got and eldigan)

Instead of thinking about his IVs, pretend that there are no IVs and those are his actual base stats, then you can decide for yourself whether he’s useless or not.

I mean, losing and gaining 3 stats doesn’t change the actual hero by much, it’s only disappointing because we keep thinking about what could be or could have been (instead of thinking about how many kills he can still get, we focus on the ones he loses, for example).

I'd argue that +/- 3 Atk/Spd/Def definitely make a difference, but entirely support your actual point. I think people should focus a little more on the actual characters rather than feeling bad on spilt milk (in regards to the "what could've been"). Yes, I sometimes thought how much cooler it woud've been to have a +Atk/Spd Charlotte, but then I actually remember, that in the grand scheme of things, it's relatively meaningless. You can generally find a workaround in terms of actual gameplay (especially with these new seal upgrades and Summoner/Ally support). Stuff like that.

You definitely don’t use him as a fodder, for fury 3 is not worth it at all. You keep him and at some point the situation will reverse when you find yourself with an eldigan lvl 1+1 with good iv. Trust me.
