[Closed] I choose Celica

I woke up to a new choose your legends.. I wasn't warned of this and now that it is here.. I have no idea who to pick.. Thats where you guys come in, I want you all to recommend someone and why i should pick them, I'll pick whichever convinces me. Thats all i have to say. And I'll edit when this question is closed

Edit: I've thought about what most of you said and i realized, That even though Red units take up 75% of all my 5*s, they are still important to me, which is why i didn't choose hector because my Effie is still op and i didn't choose Ephraim because i still use my Legendary Hector. I didn't choose Veronica is because i already have a Solid Healer/ Attacker but i don't have a solid non glass cannon unit. Hopefully this was the right choice and i still have a chance for others

I'll tell you the same thing I tell others:

I say go for Veronica, simply due to the fact that since they will be added to the regular summoning pool, colorless has far worse pity breakers so you are typically less likely to want to summon them on every other banner.

She has a Dazzling Peshkatz (Sothe's weapon) that debuffs your opponent and buffs your own. She also has a good offensive spread, good for both fighting and healing. And she's cavalry too.

Healers are always handy. If you had a particular need you wouldn't be asking who to summon. They are all good choices, well except for hector he has no beard and no Armads so he's just garbage :P

Let's start with this: you look at the new units, their stats and base kits, your goals in the game, your barracks and what you need. Which unit strikes you most and why? Then we can discuss. 'm not making decisions you need to make for yourself.

I'm late to reply, but I was aiming to give you some pointers so you could make progress on the decision-making progress.

I still have the impression that you wanted us to make your decision for you, and the only appropriate answer I know is "no, but we'll help you make your own decision."

It really depends on what type of unit you currently need, but objectively, probably Ephraim or Hector.
Ephraim has an amazing weapon and base kit, making him one of the best units in the game with little to no investment. However, Garm will need a bit of support to be at its strongest; otherwise, it's just a 19-might weapon.
On the other hand, Hector's Maltet, while not as great as Garm in my opinion, is still an amazing weapon that completely powercreeps Armads. His base kit is pretty good too, and he has the unique skill of Ostian Counter, which is basically Distant Counter plus Sturdy Stance 2. Although his full potential is probably not as great as Ephraim's (since Garm can follow-up regardless of HP), Hector does not need as much support to function.
Celica will become one of the best sword units in the game, but she doesn't bring anything game changing (no, not even Double Lion counts). Though she has a good base kit, her weapon is not as impressive when compared to the former two (and will probably get replaced with a Firesweep Sword+ anyway), and there are already so many impressive sword infantry units such as Ayra and Karla that really don't make Celica stand out.
While Veronica is probably the best healer right now due to her statline, weapon, and movement type, her BST is pretty darn low. Her weapon's effect (basically dazzling Peshkatz) is even worse than Celica's in my opinion, so unless you really want her for a horse emblem team, Veronica should probably be the lowest on your priority list.
Of course, you should still go with who you like, but in terms of offensive power, Ephraim and Hector are the best choices. Go for whichever color and/or playstyle you need out of the two.

You should probably go for Ephraim then. He feels like more of a general unit (no pun intended) than Hector, and a weapon like Garm probably won't appear on another unit for at least a long time, whereas Maltet's effect is similar to a refined Binding Blade, making Ephraim more unique.

If you really have no idea, just wait.

The CYL1 free pick only went away today. So you should have a whole year to make your decision on this one. There's no need to rush and try and make a decision instantly because you "weren't warned". Maybe you'll want one of them in the future (for a new team you start building, or fodder for a new unit or whatever).
