Close Defense fodder?

Aight, so the latest legendary banner is over with, and I got myself a Sigurd with pretty solid IVs (+atk, -res). I haven't gotten a Sigurd before, but I've been using other red cavs such as Ares and Siegbert.

But I've also been thinking of giving Close Def for Roy for a while, ever since his refine had came out. (why must there only be close def on 3 units, one being a TT unit lmao)

Should I wait for another Sigurd or S!Tiki or should I go for fodder?
