Close Counter on Healers w/ ATK+ IVs
I have steadily been building an arena team that consists of merged 5*s that all have close/distant counters, and I am wondering if I should shard a spare toon with close counter and give it to my healer, Sakura.
Her stats and skills are decently balanced and she works as a support healer. Ideally, I want to get her to 10 merges and give her more bulk and speed.
If I go the Close Counter route, what staff or skills would you suggest I learn? I've been debating on going a Pain dps/Savage Blow3 build or maybe Absorb dps + Breath of Life for aoe heals, and being able to lay out some additional variety sure would be nice, but I can't seem to decide how to approach her refining so I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for any advice you can give me :D

I'd recommend the Pain+ route. Absorb as a healer only weapon effect is very tempting - I tried it a few different ways but results were disappointing. Pain on the other hand is quite effective aganist almost anything - dazzling rather than wrathful. I'm attaching my Serra for reference.

Whenever Lu Bu plays Sakura, I see him using tanking builds on her using fear+, which makes a lot of sense to me due to her statline. Her attack is not especially high for a healer (not low, either), but she has quite a lot of mixed bulk for a healer with the def superboon. The shape of her statline makes her unique among healers, and I prefer to exploit it. If she's not using live to serve (ex: using wrathful or dazzling staff B-skill) then she definitely wants martyr+ if she plans to tank. Close counter can work; I would expect either close def or distant def as a seal. And maybe stick a spd ploy on there to help her dodge a few more doubles. All said and done, however, I don't prefer Sakura for a CC build. She's not that fast, which means she would be giving highly aggressive opponents special charges, helping them hit her with specials. IF she will go CC, then wrathful absorb+ makes sense to me to steal opponents' HP and tank some more. But she will miss the -7 to all opponents' attacks, which is worth at least 14HP if she gets hit twice so she will sometimes need to hit for at least 28 damage (otherwise if she falls on the second hit it doesn't matter) to justify absorb+, which isn't easy on 40-ish attack even against res dumping melee units.
Currently, savage vantage is the most common CC build for healers, and for this build I definitely prefer Genny, Elise, Lucius, or even Serra for higher atk stats.
I'm not in my sharpest hours of the day so take what I say with a grain of salt. :)
