Chrom or Eldigan?

As the title says. I need an opinion on Chrom vs Eldigan. I got Eldigan today out of my summoning and Ive already got a fair bit of time invested in my Chrom so I dont wanna level Eldigan only to find out hes not as good or whatnot. If the IV Calculator on this site is accurate he has a high HP and Atk IV (the calculator goes up to 20 I think but his actual Atk stat at level 1 is 24). What would the pros and cons of each be? I like how Chrom can heal himself for 10 HP every turn and how he has other ways of healing himself as well as the fact he deals pretty good damage. As for Eldigan Im not sure how I feel about his abilities or anything.

Eldigan.

Chrom... isn't exactly viable. Among other things, he gets one-shot by almost all magic users (INCLUDING NINO!), and doesn't have the bulk he initially appears to have because of his low speed. He might deal super effective damage against dragons, but his resistance and speed are so low that he's still going to take tons of damage in return, if not die. Red tanks simply aren't viable (unless they're named Ryoma).

Eldigan shares many of these flaws, but he has FAR more mobility and more useful skills overall (Other then his weapon).
