The Christmas candle.

I pulled Tharja on the banner, and I'm not sure if I want to keep her.
I've noticed that even some seasonals I like end up unused after a little while.
And Tharja isn't even a character I like.

So down here I've set two options for builds. Lyon and Henry.
Lyon being a bit more allround and Henry focussing on the def/hp with ignis bombs.

Which looks better? Or should I keep the Tharja anyway, either for use or her Vengeful fighter?

This is the Lyon I have now. So it might seem like a waste to put more stuff on him. (Done in Feh builder since he had summoner support)

He is cheaper to merge..

Just strip her clothes off, then she'll be your indestructible tank.

My vote would go for Lyon.

go for lyon. he has high attack and good mixed bulk
you can merge him too but you need more time for that
and im sure you are lyon fanboi. how could you not do this for him?

Two things holding me back:

#1 He already has a build with his owltome
#2 I fear that if he a refine he won't even be able to make use out of his close counter.

I don't want to take foddering a unit with so much prime fodder lightly

With that in mind I would say wait till Lyons refine is out.
I don't think that you have pressure to fodder her off now.

You see, here's the thing.

Winter Tharja has Red Tome Valor, so unless you already have another Winter Tharja [or] you're willing to fodder the Valor to a Festival Micaiah, or any future Red Tome Dancer, (I find Valors to be superior on Dancers) or some other Red Tome Unit, any Valor is too good to just pass up. So I suggest keeping her for this single reason, unless you have what I've listed above.

I really don't care that much for Valor skills.
Especially a niche one like red tome.

As for the question, personally, I'd pick Lyon because GHB bais, but they're both real good candidates for it. Maybe Henry because he doesn't have a Prf, yet.

You could save for a Vengeful Fighter user instead, though.

Might do Lyon if I happen to have her and he doesn't get a refine in the next two batches or something.
