Choices for Grima's A slot;

Hey, so I have a couple options. I may inherit them all, since why not, it's cool, but here are the choices I have.

1. Distant Defense; I have a spare Celica, and paired with the Close Defense SS it would help out his defenses a lot.

2. Steady Breath; I pulled a spare B!Ike from a random draw of the Legendary banner. If I did this I figure I could run the 1-round Aether combo to pretty great effect. Not sure what SS to pair this with, though.

3. Fierce Stance; I have an unused Zelgius (-spd) who I don't really have room for in my armor team. If I did this I'd pair it with one of the Atk +3 SS to give him an extra 9 attack.

Svallin shield is always an option, too.

I think I'd rather something else, since that doesn't help at all against Falchion users, and I barely ever see anyone using armor-slaying weapons.

i am using fierce stance from zelgius, i also like fury, but it counters his armored boots so i prefer fierce stance. i think sturdy stance would be the best, but i only have 1 ephraim. i think the breaths dont stack with vengeful fighter, so they arent that great? but idk

Depends on your IV. Mine is +res so I went DD and wind blessing for up to 40 res on enemy phase when wind season blows by.

Your 1st option seems solid and less costly compared to the 2nd option. Although I went aether but it was worth. However steady breath doesn't stack with VF so you're only giving him +4def on enemy phase. I'd definitely rule out your 3rd option imo bc he doesn't need extra atk especially if superboon atk so zelgius can go else where to a more def heavy unit that wouldn't mind hitting harder.

Overall I'd say your 1st option but aether is always an exception if you care don't care for ignis. Hope this helps.

I have VF on my Grima and Warding Breath and he demolishes foes on enemy turns because he will still get that double hit. :3 his cooldown may not be reduced, but still handy to have.

I mean still it works but people typically use warding breath on him with bold fighter to reduce CD on both phases. I just like DD on mine to boost tanking ranged units especially since he's +res. Still works close up on most dragons too.

I guess, but I haven’t been able to get an extra Hardin (I think I pulled some other random lance user who had bad IV’s), and i’m not spending any more orbs because obvious new banner coming out. So until I do get it, my Grima is pure enemy phase. ^^

I got 25 orbs waiting to try and snipe my 1st Hardin last minute so I can fod our neutral L!Ike since I have one already. Can you believe I got four 5* blue mages instead of him?

Can't complain they're cool can't say the same for every new banner but we'll wait and see.

Niiice Atk Lute and Speed Linde. I pulled a +Speed Linde way back when and immediately switched which Linde I was using.

I would say go with DD for now, and wait for another V!Ike. Warding Breath is far too useful on him to not use.
