Celica Versus Micaiah! (Character Wise)

I want really aware that the were so hated, specially since celica just won cyl 2 not too long ago.

I think Celica's quite more popular with the newer fans since she came out in a remake. The ones pre-Awakening didn't really get enough attention so yeah. I personally prefer Micaiah in term of character design.

I like them both fine

Celica is a literal Chinese/Russian hybrid gymnast with the leaps in basic logic she makes in the FE2 remake. She's basically dumb for plot's sake. That is a major flaw, so I can understand people disliking her. However, her design, the vocal performance by Erica Lindbeck, and solid writing outside of the last bit of the game make her one of my more fond Lord's.

Micaiah is another character plagued with some poor writing because of really stupid plot points no one even likes. She also has the misfortune of being in a game with characters with more history and development than her. It doesn't help that she isn't the focus, as the game's structure is so that there are multiple focused heroes.

That doesn't mean she's bad. She is actually, again, forgoing some seriously offensive creative choices, a really nice character. She just doesn't hold a candle to so many of the great units in her title, a lot of that thanks to so many of them having more development with a whole previous title.

Neither of them are my favorite, and that's where I get annoyed. So many people will tote them as the best of the best. Not only that, but you also have people making these broad claims of 'bes grl in FE history!' when they've played less than half the titles.

They could pick better, but the could certainly pick a lot worse.
