CC on H!Jakob

Is it worth putting CC on this jakob lr should I save it for someone else

Well, I don't recommend putting expensive skills on seasonals unless you REALLY like the unit and/or you plan on pulling for more for merging.

So if you really like him, then I say go for it.

If you're planning on pulling for more to merge when he becomes available, then I say to hold off until you get more of him.

akob. Yes my Akob is amazing with his 44 attack. Unstoppable in every way. So did not mistype and not say Jakob or anything.

Hi ssjredneck, a bunch of the frequent responders in the Q&A section decided we're going to encourage people to put more of their own thought into their game play. I know you're relatively new to the game, so whenever you ask a question I suggest you show us some of your own thoughts on the matter. We'll be able to help you better that way, too. So for this question - don't need long elaborate answers, just some ideas: why do you think CC might be good on him, why might you save it for someone else, who else might like the CC, and if you didn't put CC on him what might you do with him? (You might like to have a look at his character page for ideas ;) )

Here's a bit to help you out. If you do decide to give him CC, here's how I would do it:
Guard bow +res
Swap or other assist
Ignis
Close counter
Vengeful fighter
Hone or ward armour, or armour march
Close def

I personally prefer a different build on him, but this is a matter of preference and style.

The problem isn't that I didn't put my own thought into this question. I actually had a half hour inner dialogue over this before I posted this question but as I'm still kinda new I wanted the opinions of more experienced players.
And as I generally prefer enemy phase units and builds I ended up thinking CC was a good investment. As for who else should use CC i currently don't have any other high teir ranged heros worth investing in so if I was to save it for later it would be for a future hero

Y'all should be more worried about "frequent reaponders" who give bad/questionable advice or are just a plain waste of time since its THEM who SHOULD know better, rather than setting up rules for new players seeking advice tbh 😐......

I mean, if someone's looking for "build advise" then there really is no bad build (aside from maybe putting Bonfire/Ignis on a unit that hardly has any defense, or silly things like that). It's just what each individual prefers to use, that's why I try to make it known in practically every post that what I posted as far as builds is a possibility, or it being a good build in my opinion instead of it being the one and only build that someone should follow, like I've been accused of doing before (as ridiculous as that sounds...).

And I don't really understand the whole "waste of time" part since you're literally getting multiple responses to a question (unless you're one of the unlucky ones I guess) and it takes you about, what, 20 seconds to fully read them (very few responses take longer, or are thoroughly typed), and even if you did get one response, there's practically no time being wasted since someone actually took the time to respond to the question that no one else even bothered to look at.

How is any of that a waste of time? I don't get it, lol.

Honestly, hold on to it until CYL2, which will hopefully grace us next month, though i personally believe we're looking at September as a more likely date.

If you want a good build with CC in mind, Seeker gave a good one, though I'd change out the Seal for Distant Defense personally. Vantage with the QR Seal and Bonfire is a cheaper alternative that isn't quite a great, but still really good.

I personally like running Brave Bow, Brazen Atk/Def, Bold Fighter. Depending on the team I'll either Galeforce or Other, both using the Armored Boots, or Ignis and QR Seal.
