'Cavaliers are bad for tanks'

Something I noted about the gamepress' opinion of Silas is that they think he's a bad movement type for tanks

I find this wierd, since 36 def isn't really that low. It's just a few points below the 39 def of the highest lance def (B!Hector)

Sure I get the idea of 'you don't need movement when baiting enemies' but what if there's a pesky mage? A cavalier might get away while an armored unit is screwed.
And a cav tank is also able to deal damage in player phase easier when a situation calls for it.

Am I blinded by my love for horse units?

No i absolutely agree with you, I mean gampress isn't always right and like you said I love the mobility of horse units, not all tanks have to be Dragons or Armors. I believe if you have the stats to be a tank then you could be a good tank regardless of movement.

Well, movement is for me another type of DEFENSE.
Sometimes, you can have lot of DEF and REs and still dying just for bad movement (daggers or debuffers, for example, who can affect Armor heroes easier).
My Seth for example has like 39 defense and 39 speed and 55 attack. He is a monster, and can kill units easy and his movility is really really useful in some maps and chapters.

I think it’s because Cavs can’t inheirit Steady breath, so they can’t launch two bonfire in one round like Lukas can.
