Catria and Est now Tier 4... Poor Palla

I see they updated the Tier List for the new power (Still not for the new winter units though).

Looking over Catria's analysis, I can't help but feel like I did something wrong...

Analysis:
"Magical Blues and Greens: Catria doesn't fare well against mages and dragons due to her weak Resistance, specifically those that are blue or green. Common mages like Reinhardt and Nino, as well as dragons like Nowi and Fae, can exploit this weakness and have favorable match-ups against Catria."

Never underestimate flier buffs. Never.

That said, you're using a 5* supermerge with TT bonus stats, which helps significantly.

Also, that's a huge special. 41 damage, is it? 4x8= 32 and 73-32=41

She might even be hitting twice with Luna if she's using the Heavy Blade seal.

The Flier refines are very synergistic with Flier Buffs, so it's all good!

Glacies (if I added everything up correctly it's 55 Res after Buffs - Hardly a "dump Stat").

Catria simply has no bad stat. It's just a matter of restrictions.

Yeah if anything her weakness is that her stats are too well-rounded so she doesn't have any particular strengths.
Or at least she didn't before they let her quad with a 19mt brave weapon.

Est can probably oneround everyone in tier 1 and 2 regardless of color this tier list is irrelevant

Yeah, but it's still fun to see where GP rates them. Est is definitely the best Whitewing for Arena, if only Flier Emblem scored better in general.

People should never take gamepress and gamepedia tier lists and face value.

I feel like Est and Palla have been severely undervalued. I dare to say that Est is able to 1 shot every red and blue merged armor unit if you slap death blow on her.

Palla? Gem weapons are very strong, and her refinement provides Palla with a brave weapon without the speed penalty, making her counter red and green units if she has 2 other nearby flyer units. People tend to argue that in turn she is made susceptible to blues, but let's be real...no one fights against a unit with a color advantage if they can help it, with or without gem weapons.

If Est got bumped up a tier, the Palla needs to also :(

Not even. Est can oneround a +Def Surtr with Steady Stance 4. Before flier buffs. Est can kill every green armor when her effect applies thats how nasty she is.

Definitely agree. Anyone who calculates during the building phase or who's accustomed to thinking more in terms of role and playstyle than in colours knows that fliers have plenty of potential to overthrow the weapon triangle with sheer stats - especially if you have a 16mt brave weapon that not only dodges the speed penalty but grants 3 to all stats.
