Cancel Affinity not working?

Hello everyone, new user here!
So I put CA3 on my Takumi but for some reason it didn't work against this Lyon I was fighting even though Lyon had TA3. Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong?

[edit] So does CA just not change the forecast even when it's working then? I had no idea it didn't >_<

It seems to be working?
I mean, your Takumi is dealing 31x2 damage, while Lyon is only doing one attack that does 14 damage.
Can you show their stats?
If CA is working, it should ignore Takumi's triangle disadvantage, and Lyon's Atk- Takumi's Res should be 14. If it's less than 14, then CA is not working for some reason.

Oh I think I understand now, I think I got confused because the arrows didn't change to show Takumi has advantage and Lyon doesn't. Thank you all of you!

I don't see what the problem is. Cancel Affinity reverses the Triangle Adept bonuses, and it seems to be working as intended in your picture.

What's the issue here?
