I haven't seen his stats yet but if they really are that bad it makes sense to me

I would always promote him as soon as I could so he could be a healer so he wouldn't have high stats when I used him anyway

Oddly enough, he is actually better than I thought. I was afraid his stats wouldn't work well with the owl tome, but they actually do. They're all middle of the road, and those are the units that make use of owl tomes the most.

I kinda agree with you. Utilizing Rauðrowl+ to its fullest, and with Close Counter, he actually has some "pretty okay" defense and resistance. It's nothing game-breaking or worth writing home about, but he's not completely useless. :o
