Can you quad Brave sword with double lion?

The double lion skill still confuses me and since I don’t have Brave Celica I can’t test this out myself. Also the double lion just allows you to attack twice before the opponent like Brave weapons right?

The maximum hits you can get it 4. If you're asking if you get 8 hits with Brave Sword, then the answer is no.

double lion will not guarantee 4 hits. it basically turns any weapon into a brave weapon, but will not stack with the brave sword itself. you will get 2 hits without doubling or four hits with doubling. using double lion with a brave sword is like using a brave sword without double lion; it makes no difference.

From the way you are phrasing your question, I am guessing that you might not fully understand what Brave weapons are capable of.

Brave weapons hit twice. But if you have enough speed that you would get a follow up attack, then a brave weapon will hit 2x on initiation, plus 2x on follow up for 4x total hits. Brave weapons alone are capable of this.

Double lion behaves the exact same way. But it will not stack with a brave weapon.

I think he meant 4 consecutive hits before the enemy would potentially be able to retaliate. I was actually wondering the same thing. Regardless of what he did mean, thanks for the clarification.

I’m pretty sure you can. But the Brave Effect doesn’t work for the Brave Sword. You’re better off with an Armorsmasher. You can quad with any weapon as B!Celica.

I'd rather use Firesweep honestly that way you hit 4x without having to worry about getting hit even once combine that with DB4 and Heavy Blade seal she just decimate's enemies

Double Lion acts as a Brave effect, allowing you to make two consecutive attacks before the opponent can counter, but it does not act as a double. Doubles are calculated normally, which are then added to Double Lion's effect, allowing you to quad with Double Lion if you are at the doubling threshold. Furthermore, Brave Sword and Double Lion have the exact same effect, but they do not stack. In fact, a Brave Sword would be counterintuitive to the Double Lion effect as the -Spd would harm your chances at doubling.
Tldr; if you're going to use Double Lion, use anything other than Brave Sword.
