About how underwhelmed Lukas is?! D:<

I legit have been using him to up his SP in the training towers, and he decimates everything. EVEN HECTOR. I mean, sure, he needs a healer, but I mean, come on.

Who else here loves using Lukas? Anyone? Raise your hands, don’t be shy.

Mine has Lancebreaker currently, but I was tossing the idea of putting Guard on him. I mean, who better for that?

i wanted to say that, if you want to avoid take much damage from black luna you should use guard, but lancebreaker is good.

Sheena is awesome with Guard. Just wait till Guard seal comes out, she will run Vengeful fighter with Guard.

SS Guard will be amazing

Guard/QR is an amazing combo for him. It let’s you charge Bonfire/Ignis while denying enemies the specials they need to hurt him. I often switch to that set when I want to see him solo physical teams in Arena Assault.

Heh, trust me, almost no one here underestimates Lukas.

I mean, I know not here. XD I just mean in arena on defenses, I might see one Lukas in like a few dozen match ups. Makes me sad with the potential this monster has.

Problem is there's a lot magic going around these days (mages and dragons) that can easily obliterate Lukas.

But I still use him. XD he’s a solid unit.

I’m a big fan, I’m actually currently considering building a +10 Lukas (or a +10 Jeorge).

Lukas was the 2nd 5* unit I ever pulled, and the only reason I stopped using him in my main team was because he was -atk +res and I started using Reinhardt and Ninian at that time. He’s an incredible wall and provided you have a green mage killer, he’s absolutely priceless.

Mine is currently +atk -res +2, and he can wall and kill +10 Ayra with ease. It’s incredible.

I have the same IV's at +1, but I didn't get him until either the new years or christmas banner

I’m wondering if I shouldn’t also give him the first +10 merge. I believe mine is +Atk/-hp.

I literally just threw together a team for arena with him, Ike (regula), Hector (also regular) and LA!Roy. Already snagged one victory. XD

That’s a good bane too as the slaying lance covers up the HP lost!
Yeah I like him anyway but I’d consider it just for nostalgia too (run him alongside Lucina, Ninian and Klein like I used to my first 5* team).
If I swap out the resistance bane for -HP, I’ll see if I can run close defence as his a slot instead (no steady breath) as I think he could survive a dragon (though not a mage) with neutral resistance and close defence. Need to test it though.

Not sure if he’ll survive against a green dragon (especially not Grima), but he’s taken hits from Nowi in the training tower for me and survived. He needed a healing, but I mean he did pretty awesome against Nowi.

However, that is training tower, not arenas. XD

Now I have to refine his slaying Lance, but that’s going to be my next step in my conquest for best Lukas. >:D

Grima is one of those units you have to bait to the one who slays him. Just like W!Tharja. I bait her to my (M)Robin all the time, and he destroys her. :)

He is basically a Armored Unit, but don't let mages attack him.

He’s also available at 4*, so I hope you can pull him someday!! He’s worth jumping to 5*! I had to jump mine because I never got him at 5*.

that's what happened to me for my 2nd one, my +res went away when I got him to 5*. 50 atk is really nice on him

No harm in starting now. :) and then merge with the ideal IV’s. I did that with my A!Tiki. :3

Who do you have him shipped with?? You need more love between them! They’re only starting to feel affections to each other!!

I use Infantry Pulse when I put him as my lead for Rival Domains. It scales in power with such a large team of characters. I currently have him supported with Delthea, but I haven’t had the chance to build the support. The last days of the TT should be enough to do so.

Also a good pair for him. I’d ship that! But I may ship mine with Ike or Hector on my makeshift arena team until I get a more permanent team.

Hey J, what do you think about using fierce stance in his a slot?
I don’t have steady breath, and was thinking either close defence 3 (a slot) QR3, threaten attack and deflect melee
Or:
Fierce stance 3, QR3, threaten attack and close defence 3 (seal) or deflect melee

imo, I would go with build number 1. Deflect melee is more useful than one thinks. And with Close Def 3 on top of that, he’ll be pretty much untouchable. o.o

Plus, you have +Atk, right?

I’m leaning more toward Close Defense, since Lukas’ bread-and-butter is tanking melee units and killing them with Bonfire or Ignis. Plus Slaying Lance and QR lets him proc Bonfire and Ignis is one round of combat, so the +6 Atk will likely be marginal for him.

Also, Lukas doesn’t really need Deflect Melee in the S slot. With the right setup, he takes 0 damage from most physical melees regardless. Giving him another Close Defense will give him more damage for his special. You could also give him Deflect Magic so he doesn’t outright die to a magic attack.

I was thinking a little about this, as I can’t see him handling a green or blue mage at the moment, but double close defence and a neutral resistance might be enough to hold up vs a dragon (Nowi and Tiki mainly).

I love Lukas, he's easily my best unit in FEH. He feels so underappreciated sometimes but once in a while threads like these remind people why he's called Ginger Stud Lukas. He was my first and second 5*. He carried me through so many battles with his ridiculous defense, only to realize his IVs were shit(-Atk, +Spd) but he still was able to do so much. I still find it weird that he's not ranked higher on the tier list than he is.

He may be pretty high on the inheritance tier list, but I haven’t checked that one in AGES. He’s super amazing with skill inheritance.
