..The fact that Cecilia got an free alt of all characters.
Sure, not everyone might care, but that's kinda the beauty of it.

Her stats/being armored is going to matter, but it doesn't change the fact that they gave her an alt.

Yeah, too bad she is a dagger unit but still, i'm glad she got an alt. It's always great to have alt of unit that never had one before.

At least a dagger is something new for TT
There's not a free single dagger unit that isn't Eir (who's just one time only)

I hope her dagger is going to have the same effect as Myrrh's. Would be great for hard to kill armors

You're not the only one. Very few people actually like daggers, or bows for that matter. Theyre two weapon types that just struggle to be worth it since anything they can do, mages can do better, or in the case of sothe, veronica does his job, and then some.

Not fully true, there are some things you can do with em.
Physical damage can be useful, and staffs do still have the downside of less skills

But it's often easier to just use a mage/staff unit.

Daggers
• Can AOE debuff all stats at once

Staffs
• Removes Counter attacks for allies
• Restores ally hp
• Buffs allies while healing their hp
• AOE Panic
• AOE Gravity
• Forces Triangle Adept on enemies

Staffs are just better.

Especially with Brave Veronica, staffs have been getting alot better lately. There needs to be better daggers units added, I missed the fun of being able to one shot infantry with my merged Kagero

That and with close counter the dagger debuffs would wreck havoc on an armor team if her bulk is high enough. Plus she's a TT unit meaning we'll be able to merge her easier than H!Kagero in the near future.

I don't know what to say.... Merging dagger unit? Why? Out of all free armors (Eliwood, Dorkas, BK, Zephiel, Arden) i don't see any reason to merge her.
It's just me and all, but even if she will get CC (from Takumi, not by default) she still would be relatively weak, because of lack a dagger that would work as good as owl tome with CC.
I can see her with smoke dagger or seasonal effective against something dagger but i doubt it worth the effort.
But it's too early to discuss her, we know nothing about her stats, BST, weapon and skills.

I think its likely she'll be an armored unit given the new banner is nothing but armor units and all the bonus TT units are armored as well.
Tbh I just want an armored dagger unit to have fun with cuz I think daggers are pretty fun and dont get enough attention.
But point taken, Black Knight and H!Dorcas would be more valuable merges and until her stats are out those two take priority.

I'm confident they will eventually, they gave colorless staff units Triangle Adept and Guard effects as well as Flash+ so its effect isn't locked to a seasonal unit so its clear they're paying attention to the colorless units.
I think they tried to make daggers interesting by adding Legault and Flora but they didnt make of an impact.
But with Eir and Cecilia as free dagger units back to back I think IS is paying a lot more attention to daggers and is going to do something new with them soon.

Yogurt is pretty great and she's a dagger unit.

What makes it hard for most dagger units to shine is probably their stats; Yogurt easily has the best PP offensive stats and can take teams down with a dancer and her Fury/Desp/Flashing Blade kit

Well, archers has supportive role thanks to NY!Corrin or F!Takumi but daggers lack a uniqe and strong weapon other weapon types has. Barb shuriken is great but not good enough, smoke dagger is best they has but it's not enough.
i think they need exclusive skills or something but IS thought that giving them color would fix anything.
As for Yogurt she is one of them but she kinda not like them so i dunno, never had her but i'm sure i would fodder her off for spd tactic cause i have mages (add my personal bias toward spell casters ).

I will absolutely appreciate her if she has anything worth foddering. Otherwise as long as she is Armored (95% chance she is), she won't see much if any use by me.
