Can someone explain this to me clearly?

What are the pros and cons of running Spurs/Drives/Goad/Ward and Hone/Fortify?

Because usually in my team comps, my armored units always run the invisible buffs. While my fliers can run full Goad unless I have a blade tome (which I do), in that case I run one of each Hone and Fortify. My cavalry always run the visible buffs. My infantry would always run invisible ones though (always hope for more drives)

And my other question now is: which buffs are more prevalent in the current meta?

For Hone/Fortify
Pros: Provide the most stat increase, especially emblem specific buffs. Can power up bladetomes. Affects two stats.
Cons: Must be next to the unit providing the buff at the start of the turn. Susceptible to Panic status. Cannot stack if more than one source of buff is available.

For Spur
Pros: Provide the same stat increase as regular hone or fortify but is immune to Panic status. Can stack if more than one source exists.
Cons: Unit receiving the buff must be next to the unit providing the buff at the start of combat. Cannot power up bladetomes. Affects only one stat.

For Drive/Goad/Ward
Pros: Provides the same stat increase as a regular hone/fortify or spur but has a range of two so the unit in combat does not need to be next to the source unit. Cannot be affected by Panic status. Can stack if more than one source exists. Goad and Ward affects two stats. Drive has more weight in terms of arena scoring.
Cons: Cannot power up bladetomes. Goad and Ward only applicable to specific emblem teams. Drive only affects one stat as opposed to Goad and Ward which affects two.

A combination of these are more prevalent in emblem teams but bladetome teams almost always need at least one hone and one fortify to maximize damage output. Otherwise, all goads for a more offensive team like flier emblem is perfectly viable. One hone or fortify emblem specific skill and 3 goads or wards provide the most offensive or defensive value to a single unit when buffed by all other units that provide them.
