Can I run a +HP -ATK Raven and not be awful?

I got one and I love this character and his weapon but I got it with a nature that appears to kill one of his best stats... However I don't know if it could be run as a tank since his DEF, RES are neutral and HP is improved. If so, can it be successful? Any ideas? Or should I throw him away?
